Seeking

Two dependable Independent Contractor Medical Couriers to transport medical shipments from our Metro Detroit hub to hospitals throughout the Metro Detroit and Suburban areas

Responsibilities

Independent Contractor Medical Courier to transport medical shipments. This is a dedicated route opportunity with additional on-demand courier work available for dependable drivers. Routes are mileage-based and typically average 80–160 miles per shift. Most hospital deliveries are completed in approximately 10 minutes per stop usually a average of 5 to 7 stops round trip deliveries.

Available Positions

Position 1 – Evening Route Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:00 PM until route is completed typical route duration: 3–4 hours

Position 2 – Weekend Route Thursday, Friday, 6:00 PM until route is completed and Saturday, Sunday 12:00 PM until route is completed typical route duration: 3–4 hours

Job Responsibilities

Deliver medical boxes to assign hospitals. Complete deliveries safely, accurately, and on time. Obtain proof of delivery using a smartphone application. Follow all customer procedures and delivery protocols. Maintain a professional appearance while providing outstanding customer service.

Equipment Requirement

Cargo Van, Low- Roof Sprinter Van, High-Roof Cargo Van, Foldable hand truck (dolly) or Foldable flatbed cart

Qualifications

Valid driver's license

No more than two points on your driving record in the last 3 years

Pass a background and pass drug screening,

Minimum $300,000 automobile liability insurance

Cargo Insurance minimum $10,000

Smart phone with GPS ability to use mobile delivery applications

Pass a Motor Vehicle & background check

Job Description

Compensation & Benefits

Excellent pay weekly, direct deposit, flat-rate compensation per mile. Drivers will be compensated for a roundtrips.
