About MOTO-Med

MOTO-Med is a STAT motorcycle medical courier service providing time-critical hospital and lab logistics "when every minute matters." We securely deliver high-priority medical items (blood, plasma, lab samples, surgical equipment/kits) with professionalism, urgency, and strict chain-of-custody - focused on point-to-point efficiency.

The Role

We're hiring a calm, highly organized dispatcher to coordinate rider pickups and drop-offs across Los Angeles and Orange County. You'll be the operational control point - taking client requests, creating jobs, dispatching riders, tracking each run in real time, and keeping all stakeholders updated through to successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Take client requests (calls/messages), confirm details, timelines, access instructions, and special handling notes
• Create, assign, and track deliveries in Optimoroute; maintain accurate job notes and status updates
• Dispatch riders and manage runs end-to-end; monitor ETAs and resolve delays or exceptions quickly and professionally
• Provide proactive client updates throughout the job (pickup confirmed, ETA, delivered)
• Liaise with riders, hospitals, labs, and partner facilities to confirm readiness, access, and delivery requirements
• Support chain-of-custody documentation and maintain clean operational logs for audits and service reviews
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations on priorities and client expectations; escalate critical issues promptly to the CEO
• Produce daily/weekly reporting (volume, on-time performance, exceptions, client notes, rider utilization) and support shift handovers

Requirements

• Dispatch, logistics, operations, or client coordination experience (courier/medical logistics a plus)
• Strong communicator - clear, calm, and professional under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail (job notes, addresses, special instructions, chain-of-custody requirements)
• Comfortable using Optimoroute (experience a plus) and general dispatch/operations tools
• Ability to work shift schedules (including some evenings/weekends/holidays as needed)
• Familiarity with LA/OC geography is helpful
