Medical Courier Driver (Part-Time)

Job Title: Medical Courier Driver (1099) – Orlando Roster

Location: Orlando, FL (and surrounding Central Florida area)

Schedule: Monday–Friday (part-time, afternoon shifts)

Pay: $100 minimum per day

Job Description:
We are seeking dependable Medical Courier Drivers for weekday afternoon routes in the Orlando area. Drivers will pick up medical specimens, supplies, and documents from multiple VA clinics, hospitals, and labs, then deliver to designated VA facilities and reference labs. Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.

Details:

• Part-time, Monday–Friday
• Afternoon shifts (typically 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM range, exact times vary by route)
• Coverage area: Orlando VA Healthcare System and surrounding locations (includes Lake Nona, Daytona Beach, Viera, Tavares, Clermont, Kissimmee, Deltona, Palm Bay, Tampa, and nearby non-VA labs)
• Optional days available
• $100/day minimum (plus potential mileage bonus for longer routes)

Requirements:

• Personal vehicle 7 years old or newer
• Vehicle type: SUV, Cargo Van, or Sprinter Van (preferred for larger loads; sedans considered)
• Ability to provide insurance declaration page (minimum $1M liability coverage required)
• Valid Florida driver’s license (or valid out-of-state license if relocating)
• Ability to handle medical specimens responsibly (biohazard precautions)
• HIPAA & Bloodborne Pathogen certification (or willingness to obtain – we provide guidance/options)
• Punctual, reliable, and professional
