Medical Data Entry Clerk

Berkeley Eye Center has been a Houston Vision Care leader for over 60 years. With 26 locations and over 665 staff members we offer a wide variety of eye care services throughout the area.

We are looking for a Data Entry Operator to update and maintain information on our computer system in our Central Billing Department in Kingwood, Texas. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their start in a medical billing environment.

Primary responsibilities include

• Timely entering of customers and account data from source documents.
• Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry.

Our ideal candidate has essential data entry skills, (ability to type quickly and accurately), a high level of attention to detail, computer proficiency and familiarity with spreadsheets and other office productivity software. You will work with the Central Business Office. Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerkor similar position will be considered a plus.

Ultimately, a successful Data Entry Operator will be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date and useable information in our systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
