Medical Device Sales Representative

Location: Knoxville and/or Chattanooga

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and driven Medical Device Sales Representative to manage and grow a defined territory within the orthopedic extremities space. This role focuses on arthroplasty and trauma products, working closely with orthopedic surgeons and clinical teams across hospitals, surgery centers, and private clinics. The ideal candidate is comfortable in the operating room, understands the dynamics of surgical environments, and is eager to take ownership of their territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Grow and manage a defined sales territory
  2. Build relationships with orthopedic surgeons, OR staff, and key decision-makers
  3. Provide intraoperative support during surgical cases
  4. Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
  5. Support product evaluations, in-services, and surgeon education
  6. Manage case coverage, inventory, and day-to-day territory operations

Qualifications:

  1. 1+ years of experience (preferred) in orthopedic medical device sales (extremities and/or trauma preferred)
  2. Proven track record of success in a sales role
  3. Experience working in or around the operating room
  4. Strong communication and relationship-building skills
