Join our growing team within the Kansas Mobile Solutions division providing mobile imaging services in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation and long term acute care hospitals.
Medical Dispatcher - 3 days, 12 hour shifts
The Dispatcher creates schedules and coordinates which technicians go to which job site and determines technician availability for emergencies.
Some job duties include:
1. Dispatches all of the company’s technicians in a manner that maximizes efficiency and ensures customer satisfaction.
2. Schedules daily technician coverage/assignments.
3. Ensures accurate coverage and response time to client requests/emergencies.
4. Collaborates with dispatching staff and drivers to communicate route or job information.
5. Implements emergency dispatch procedures as situations occur and require.
6. Answers in-bound calls from customers and assesses their needs.
7. Schedules and dispatches technicians to appropriate job site.
8. Provides exceptional customer service to customers at all times.
9. Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
10. Performs office clerical work, such as filing and organizing.
11. Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Experience and familiarity with medical terminology, medical office reception and/or medical scheduling experience required.
3. Strong communication skills and customer service minded.
4. Ability to work independently and possesses an advanced level of organizational skills.
5. Capacity to handle high call volume while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
7. Ability to maintain patient, team member and employer confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
Strong communication skills and customer service minded.
Ability to work independently, possess an advanced level of organizational skills.
Capacity to handle high call volume while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient working with Microsoft Excel.
Medical terminology, medical office reception, and/or medical scheduling experience, necessary.
