Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various specialties, utilizing advanced medical knowledge and technology. This role involves performing clinical evaluations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Physician will work in a dynamic environment, engaging in inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth services, with opportunities for involvement in clinical research and specialized procedures. A strong background in medical records management, medical coding, and adherence to HIPAA standards is essential. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans across various medical disciplines including internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, and more.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions with appropriate medication administration, pain management strategies, and post-operative or post-acute care.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or EMR systems for documentation and patient data management while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with specialists in fields such as endocrinology, oncology, nephrology, pulmonology, infectious disease care, and others to coordinate comprehensive treatment approaches.
- Provide patient education on health coaching, disease prevention, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and family planning.
- Engage in discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of treatment across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine.
- , Proven experience in multiple specialties such as family medicine, emergency medicine, hospital medicine.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications relevant to specialty practice are preferred.
