Medical Doctor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Medical Doctor (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive medical care across diverse specialties, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through expert diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic evaluations to determine health status and treatment needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans utilizing evidence-based practices across various medical disciplines such as internal medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, neurology, and more.
  • Performing history and physical exam, ordering appropriate lab tests, radiology studies and screening studies via Face-to-Face (F2F), and Telehealth appointments.
  • Developing a treatment and follow-up plan to include medication, medical equipment, and home-based interventions
  • Evaluate and treat acute and chronic health problems for scheduled and unscheduled patients in the clinic setting
  • Records patient encounters, notes, orders, and consults appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Performs office procedures contained within their privileges
  • Communicates test results to patients
  • Assist in preparation of the patient and/or his/her family to include, but not limited to, teaching (to include health promotion and disease prevention activities), accumulating data and medical problems, and presenting patient centered discussion
  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) and EMR systems like eClinical Works (eCW) to document patient encounters accurately, track progress, and coordinate care seamlessly .
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, specialists in radiology, pathology, psychiatry, and other fields to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in medical technology such as CT scans, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology to enhance treatment strategies.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy essential for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
  • Experience in various specialties including but not limited to psychiatry, endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology, pulmonology, dermatology, immunology, oncology, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), neonatology, pediatrics and infectious disease care is a plus
  • Familiarity with healthcare protocols including HIPAA compliance for patient privacy and safety standards aligned with NCQA standards.
  • Competence in managing chronic conditions while addressing acute pain management needs or post-operative recovery.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $190,000.00 - $222,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
