Medical Doctor Seeking RN or LPN Medical Scribe – Hospital Based

Job Overview:
A Physician is seeking a dependable LPN or RN to assist as a Medical Scribe during hospital rounding. This role involves documenting patient encounters in real time and assisting with administrative and clinical documentation tasks to ensure efficient patient care.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Document patient visits in real time within the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Take detailed notes during patient encounters
• Complete and submit medical documentation and billing in a timely manner
• Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care
• Help electronically submit prescriptions and physician orders
• Ensure hospital rounding runs smoothly and patients are seen efficiently

Qualifications:

• Licensed LPN or RN preferred
• Experience with medical documentation as a scribe is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Responsible, confident, mature, punctual, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working in a hospital-based environment

Schedule:

• Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• On-call work may be required as needed

Additional Details:

• This is a hospital-based position
• Independent contractor position (W-9)

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
