Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Doctor (MD or DO) to join our growing mobile wound care program. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in procedural medicine and chronic wound management, with a focus on advanced healing interventions rather than routine dressing changes.

This role involves evaluating and treating patients with chronic or complex wounds using advanced modalities such as:

• Sharp/excisional debridement
• Application of cellular tissue products and biologics
• Negative pressure wound therapy
• Compression therapy and offloading strategies

You will collaborate closely with our clinical team to design treatment plans that promote rapid healing and prevent hospitalizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform wound assessments and advanced procedures in patient homes and assisted living settings
• Develop individualized care plans to optimize healing outcomes
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members, including care managers and nursing staff
• Document all care in our electronic medical record (eCW) system
• Ensure adherence to clinical and regulatory standards

Qualifications

✅ Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) – licensed in Wisconsin
✅ Board Certified/Eligible in Surgery, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or similar specialty
✅ Previous wound care or surgical experience strongly preferred
✅ Comfort with performing procedures in non-traditional settings
✅ Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
✅ Reliable transportation for travel between patient locations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $225,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
