Medical Driver – Patient Transportation (Weekdays Only

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Medical Driver – Patient Transportation to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring safe, timely, and compassionate transportation for patients requiring TMS therapy or other medical appointments. The ideal candidate will be energetic, customer-focused, and committed to providing excellent service while adhering to safety standards. This position offers weekday-only shifts, providing a consistent schedule for work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport patients to and from medical appointments during weekday hours
  • Assist patients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the journey
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, including routine inspections and reporting any issues
  • Communicate clearly with patients to provide directions or assistance as needed, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure secure transportation at all times
  • Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or concerns during transportation
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to coordinate schedules and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs

Experience

  • Previous shuttle driving or delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with passenger transport is a plus
  • Experience driving buses, limousines, or paratransit vehicles is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting patients or handling equipment safely
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety standards are met
  • Valid driver’s license appropriate for commercial or passenger vehicle operation; clean driving record required
  • Demonstrated reliability with excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment
