Priority Home Medical Equipment is a leader in providing DME supplies to western Oklahoma. We provide equipment such as oxygen, Cpaps, hospital beds, wheelchairs and much more to help patients lead a more comfortable and productive life. We are seeking a dedicated delivery/service technician. This position is responsible for making deliveries, providing services and ensuring patients and/or caregivers understand instructions of medical equipment. This position will also learn all aspects of our products, software and retail sales as well and inventory receiving.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Available for designated on-call days and some evening shifts.
- Completes all necessary delivery forms and paperwork including, but not limited to invoices, work orders, manifests and logs, patient care instructions, route sheets, etc.
- Delivers equipment and oxygen as required in accordance with industry standards and applicable federal , state and local laws and regulations.
- Delivers, sets up and maintains equipment at the delivery address using company vehicle. (Must be able to lift and assemble heavy equipment)
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company and all applicable governmental regulations.
- Educates the patient and/or caregiver on the safe use and maintenance of the delivered items and provides clear instructions to patient to ensure understanding of equipment.
- Maintains assigned company vehicle in a clean and safe working condition.
- Properly cares for and uses electronic equipment that is assigned for job duties.
- Reports equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required.
- Safeguards patient's Protected Health Information and adheres to all HIPPA privacy regulations.
- Utilizes company software to enter Patients, order information and inventory receipt.
- Assist with inside sales and re-supply.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Skills and Abilities
- Effectively communicate in English
- Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information.
- Mapping skills including ability to plan time-saving delivery routes
- Multi-task along with attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills.
- Loading, unloading and proper tie down procedures of transported equipment.
- Ability to bend, lift and carry 75 pounds and above on a daily basis.
- Operating the assigned company vehicle safely.
