Role Description The Medical Esthetician will provide a range of medical-grade aesthetic treatments, including but not limited to hair removal services, lash application, microneedling, and other advanced skincare therapies. This full-time, on-site role in Little Rock, AR involves performing thorough skin assessments, explaining treatment options, and customizing treatment plans based on client needs and provider recommendations. The Medical Esthetician will prepare treatment rooms, maintain equipment, follow safety and infection-control protocols, and document services in accordance with clinic standards. Daily responsibilities include educating clients on pre- and post-treatment care, recommending appropriate skincare products, and ensuring an excellent client experience from check-in to follow-up. The role also involves collaborating with medical providers, assisting with treatment protocols, and participating in ongoing training to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in full body waxing, with a focus on safe and effective application.
  • Hands-on experience with Microneedling and advanced skincare procedures, including treatment planning and post-care guidance.
  • Ability to work within a medical or med spa environment, collaborating with licensed medical professionals and following medical-grade protocols.
  • Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a client-centered approach to care.
  • Current esthetics or cosmetology license as required by the state of Arkansas; medical aesthetics certification or laser technician training preferred.
  • Knowledge of skin types, common skin conditions, and contraindications for aesthetic procedures.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment, following all safety and infection-control guidelines.
  • Ability to work full time on site, manage a steady schedule of clients, and use scheduling and documentation systems efficiently.
  • Previous experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or cosmetic practice is highly beneficial.
