<Responsibilities>
- Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and facilitate check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency.
- Manage patient scheduling
- Collect and process payments, co-pays, and outstanding balances while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, providing excellent customer service and directing calls appropriately.
- Maintain organized medical records, update patient information accurately.
- Support clinical staff by managing intake forms, preparing patient charts, and coordinating appointment schedules.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards by safeguarding patient health information and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Assist with office management tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling correspondence to support daily clinic operations.
<Requirements>
- Proven experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting; clinic or dental experience is highly preferred.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse patients.
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and data entry accuracy.
- Knowledge of health information management practices including insurance verification and documentation review.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing medical records and office administrative tasks.
