Position Overview

Zimmermann Modern Wellness is a functional integrative medical practice. We are seeking a polished, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Front Desk Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-touch healthcare environment, values professionalism, and understands that the front desk sets the tone for the entire patient experience.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Experience & Front Desk Operations

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Ensure accurate payment collection
  • Process deposits and explain cancellation policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, luxury front desk environment
  • Provide concierge-level service to all patients

Scheduling & Communication

  • Schedule new and follow-up appointments accurately
  • Coordinate IV therapy bookings and provider schedules
  • Confirm appointments and manage reminders
  • Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries
  • Communicate clearly with providers, nurses, and management

Administrative & Clinical Support

  • Scan and upload documents into the EHR
  • Maintain patient records with strict confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)
  • Process intake forms and consents
  • Assist with inventory tracking for supplements and IV supplies
  • Support office workflow and daily operations

Sales & Retail Support

  • Educate patients on membership programs and wellness packages
  • Assist with supplement sales and checkout
  • Maintain retail displays and restock products
  • Support promotional initiatives and in-office marketing

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
  • Experience with EHR systems (Charm EHR experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Comfortable handling financial transactions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Experience in concierge medicine is a plus

Pay Range: $21 to $25 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 24 per week
