Pay Rate: $20.00 plus Shift Differentials
Complete Care is hiring experienced Medical Front Office Receptionists for our Colorado Springs freestanding emergency room locations. This role supports patient registration, insurance verification, and medical front desk operations for day shifts. You will be the first point of contact for patients seeking emergency care, and your work directly impacts patient experience and care quality.
What You Will Do
- Welcome patients and complete check in, registration, and front desk duties
- Complete medical insurance verification, eligibility checks, and demographic entry
- Communicate with patients and families during high stress situations
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR or EPM system
- Coordinate paperwork and collaborate with clinical teams for smooth patient flow
- Manage phone calls, patient questions, and follow up needs
- Maintain a professional, organized front desk environment
Required Experience
- One to two years of medical insurance verification experience
- Two to three years of medical customer service or front desk experience
- Experience with EMR or EPM systems and MS Office
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association within sixty days
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be flexible for days, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Comfortable working in a fast paced emergency room environment
