Medical Gastrologist

• Clinical Consultation: Evaluate patient symptoms, review medical history, and order diagnostic tests (blood tests, imaging, biopsies).
• Procedural Expertise: Perform, interpret, and manage risks for procedures such as upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
• Disease Management: Treat, monitor, and manage both acute and chronic gastrointestinal and liver conditions (e.g., irritable bowel syndrome, hepatitis, Crohn’s disease, GERD).
• Cancer Screening: Perform regular colonoscopies to detect and remove precancerous polyps and screen for colorectal cancer.
• Collaboration: Work alongside primary care doctors, surgeons, and oncologists to coordinate comprehensive care.
