The Insurance Verification position is to serve as a liaison between front office schedulers that are front facing and collect patients insurance coverages. You'll be responsible to facilitate billing by accurately verifying health insurance, confirming the correct payor and plan is entered into the patient accounting system. This will require collaborating with offices and or the patients to complete demographic information if the eligible insurance verification shows differently. The insurance Verification specialist needs the knowledge of standard insurance companies and verification requirements , be versed in Medicare and MAP Coverages , have the Ability to multitask, prioritize needs to meet required timelines. Display Analytical and problem-solving skills, and great customer service . The Insurance Verifier coordinates with the referral/ pre-authorization department and has a clear understanding of the approval process to ensure all necessary approvals are secured before services are provided. The Insurance Verifiers will Assist patients in resolving insurance-related concerns.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Minimum two years medical office experience with knowledge of Medicare and managed care rules/regulations
• Experience in insurance verification is required

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
