Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer/Technician experienced in Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS), Laboratory Gas Systems, and Gas Detection Systems. The candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance activities in hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare facilities while ensuring compliance with HTM standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Project Execution

• Follow approved drawings, technical specifications, and HTM standards during installation and commissioning.
• Execute piping works, electrical cabling, and mounting of system devices.
• Install medical gas pipeline components, laboratory gas systems, and gas detection systems.
• Perform installation, configuration, and calibration of gas detection sensors and control panels.
• Coordinate with site engineers and other trades for smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and quality control policies.
• Assist in system commissioning, functional testing, and performance verification.

Service & Maintenance Duties

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for medical gas, lab gas, and gas detection systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults, alarms, and breakdowns.
• Perform regular testing, calibration, and performance verification of gas detection sensors and monitoring systems.
• Replace faulty parts or components as required.
• Maintain detailed service reports and maintenance records.
• Respond promptly to urgent service calls from hospitals and medical facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Medical Gas Systems, Laboratory Gas Systems, or Gas Detection Systems.
• Knowledge of HTM guidelines, installation practices, and commissioning procedures.
• Experience in sensor calibration, alarm systems, and system troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of site safety and quality compliance procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Valid driving license (preferred and considered an advantage).
