Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT / MLS) – 13-Week Contract

Location: Westminster, CO 80023 Pay: $1,793.00 per week (Gross) Shift: Mid-shift (1:00 PM – 9:30 PM) | 8-hour shifts Schedule: 40 hours guaranteed per week | Every other weekend required Duration: 13-week contract (with high possibility of extension)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 13-week assignment in Westminster, CO. You will be responsible for performing routine and specialized tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate results to support patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing in departments such as Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Blood Bank.
• Prepare specimens for analysis and operate automated laboratory equipment.
• Verify test results and maintain accurate records in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Perform quality control checks and routine equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and CLIA/CAP regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold one of the following active certifications:

• MLS (ASCP or AMT) OR MLT (ASCP or AMT).
• BLS Certification (Must be through the American Heart Association).

Pay: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour
