Medical Lab Technician (MLT)/Medical Lab Scientist (MLS)

Grand Forks Clinic is now accepting applications for a Medical Lab Technician/Medical Lab Scientist. Position is full time, Monday through Friday – no weekends or holidays. Optional 4 - 10 hour days. Full benefit package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401k, short/long term disability and paid time off.

Responsibilities may include:

• Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing.
• Follows standard operating procedures for MLS/MLTs.
• Ensures laboratory safety, quality and regulatory requirements are met.
• Recognizes safety hazards and complies with all safety practices and protocols.
• Collects and processes lab specimens with proper equipment.
• Performs clinical laboratory testing, including manual and automated methods.
• Collect and manage samples of blood and other fluids from patients. This does include phlebotomy.
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

Certifications Requirements:

Professional Certification (MLT, MLS, MT, CLS). This includes both state and national certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
