Mission Cancer & Blood, part of UI Health Care is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist to perform and/or provide leadership to venipuncture, VAD (port) access, PICC line and finger stick blood collection procedures to obtain specimens from patients for laboratory testing used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. They are responsible for processing these specimens and performing moderate complexity and point of care testing in an accurate and timely manner, maintaining proper documentation and accurate recording of results. All testing is done in accordance with established policies and procedures and following CLIA requirements and regulations.
The department intends to either a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist, based on the qualifications of the successful candidate.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/ week, Hours generally worked between 7:00am-5:30pm
