Title: Medical Lab Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technician (Traveler)
Location: Blake Avenue, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (1 weekend/month)
Schedule: 4x10s or 5x8s (to be finalized during interview)

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $50.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,000.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $18.85
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $754.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,246.00

OR

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $55.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,200.00

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a travel assignment in a busy clinical laboratory setting. The traveler will collect and receive specimens, perform chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, and other diagnostic tests, and operate both manual and automated laboratory equipment.

Requirements:

Medical Technician (ASCP):

· Associate degree

· Current ASCP or AMT certification

Medical Lab Scientist / Technologist (ASCP):

· Bachelor’s degree

· Current ASCP or AMT certification

Experience:

· Minimum 2 years of experience as an MLS/MLT required
