Medical Laboratory Technician: Every other weekend 8-8pm and Monday AH's 4-10:30 at Central Lab

Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Manager, the Medical Laboratory Technician provides services of both a technical and non-technical nature. Performs routine and complex lab tests throughout the clinical lab to provide physicians with rapid and accurate lab test results. Duties include: preparation of specimens for processing in the lab; performance of waived, moderate, and highly complex analytical process; establishing performing and documenting quality assurance and control; equipment maintenance; recognizing problems and identifying causes and determining solutions; confirming and verifying results through knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments; correlating and interpreting data based on knowledge of factors affecting test results.
