MEDICAL NURSE

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist ophthalmologists during consultations, diagnostic procedures, and surgeries.
• Manage patient preparation before and after eye surgeries (Cataract, LASIK, etc.).
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain patient records.
• Perform visual acuity tests and support in eye investigations.
• Educate patients about pre- and post-operative eye care.
• Ensure cleanliness, sterilization, and inventory management of medical instruments.
• Provide empathetic and professional patient support.

Requirements:

• Diploma or B.Sc. in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc Nursing).
• Registered with the State Nursing Council.
• Prior experience in an eye hospital or clinical setup preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, responsible, and patient-oriented.
