Medical Officer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Officer to join our medical center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment while ensuring compliance with medical standards and protocols. Key Responsibilities Examine, diagnose, and treat patients in OPD and emergency settings Take detailed medical histories and perform physical examinations Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans Monitor patient progress and follow up on treatment outcomes Coordinate with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare staff Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Ensure compliance with PMDC/PMC guidelines and hospital policies Provide patient education regarding disease prevention and health promotion Handle medical emergencies efficiently and ethically Job Requirements MBBS degree from a recognized institution Valid PMC (Pakistan Medical Commission) registration Minimum 2–5 years of clinical experience (more preferred for senior role) Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Willingness to work in shifts (if required) Experience in OPD, emergency, or primary care setting preferred Preferred Skills (Optional but Plus) Experience in medical center / clinic setup Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) Basic life support (BLS) / ACLS certification Special interest in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency care Salary & Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience) Professional and supportive working environment Growth and learning opportunities
