Medical Officer

A Medical Officer / Resident Medical Officer (RMO) in a hospital is responsible for providing continuous medical care to admitted patients and managing emergency cases. The role involves examining patients, initiating treatment, monitoring clinical progress, and coordinating with consultants for specialized care. The Medical Officer ensures accurate documentation of case sheets, treatment plans, and discharge summaries while adhering to hospital protocols and medico-legal guidelines. They respond to emergencies, perform life-saving procedures when required, and work closely with nursing and support staff to ensure quality patient care. The position requires strong clinical knowledge, quick decision-making skills, and the ability to work in rotational shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.
