Medical Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Officer to provide high-quality clinical care to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatments, and managing patient recovery while ensuring strict adherence to PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council) guidelines and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations, take detailed medical histories, and provide initial diagnoses for both OPD and IPD patients.

• Manage medical emergencies and provide immediate stabilization and life-saving interventions when necessary.

• Order diagnostic tests (labs/imaging), interpret results, and formulate comprehensive treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate, digitized, or manual patient records, including discharge summaries and progress notes.

• Collaborate with consultants, nursing staff, and paramedical teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions.

• Perform minor surgical procedures (suturing, catheterization, IV cannulation) as required.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).

  Primary & Secondary Schooling (K-12)

• Registration: Valid and active PMDC/PMC registration is mandatory.

• Experience: Exactly or more than 3 years of post-house job clinical experience.

• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and bedside manner.

• Ability to remain calm and effective under high-pressure situations.

• Proficiency in basic computer systems (Hospital Management Information Systems).
