Medical Officer (Alternate Night) Emergency Department

  • Provide immediate medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients presenting in the Emergency Room.
  • Perform initial triage and ensure timely management of critical and emergency cases.
  • Stabilize patients in emergency conditions including trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and shock.
  • Carry out emergency procedures such as IV cannulation, suturing, wound dressing, CPR, intubation assistance, and catheterization as required.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic investigations including lab tests, X-rays, ECG, and other imaging.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, clinical findings, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Coordinate with consultants and other departments for referrals, admissions, and specialized care.
  • Ensure proper handover of patients during shift changes and follow ER protocols.
  • Monitor patient condition continuously and provide updates to patients’ attendants regarding treatment progress.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and emergency clinical guidelines.

Requiremnets:

MBBS along with experience of working in critical areas including ER.
