We are seeking a dedicated and competent Medical Officer to join our Oncology Department. The ideal candidate will work closely with the oncology team to provide high-quality medical care to cancer patients, support clinical decision-making, and contribute to the overall management and continuity of oncology services.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist consultant oncologists in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of cancer patients.

· Monitor patient progress and manage day-to-day clinical care under supervision.

· Perform clinical procedures and support chemotherapy administration, where applicable.

· Maintain detailed and accurate patient medical records in accordance with hospital policies.

· Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, tumor boards, and clinical audits.

· Coordinate with nursing and allied health staff to ensure holistic patient care.

· Support emergency care for oncology patients and manage complications effectively.

· Adhere to hospital infection control, safety protocols, and oncology-specific guidelines.

· Engage in continued medical education and training programs relevant to oncology.

Requirements:

· MBBS from a recognized institution. With Valid PMDC registration.

· 1–2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting (experience in oncology preferred but not mandatory).

· Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

· Willingness to pursue further training in oncology and related specializations.
