Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Medical Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy four doctor practice. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical and administrative functions, ensuring smooth practice management, compliance with healthcare regulations, and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and expense control to ensure the practice’s financial stability.
- Supervise medical administrative support staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information.
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for accurate documentation and data management.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to uphold quality standards in specialized medical services provided within the practice.
- Monitor utilization management and managed care processes to optimize patient outcomes and reimbursement procedures.
- Lead efforts in clinic experience improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and staff engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical setting such as primary care, dental clinics, or specialty practices.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience managing medical staff teams
- Proficiency in Quickbooks
- Proficiency in insurance verification
- Proficiency in processing payroll
- Extensive knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting, financial management practices, billing procedures, and managed care processes.
- Experience with office management tasks such as human resources functions and vendor relations.
- Ability to handle complex administrative responsibilities while maintaining a focus on quality patient care delivery.
