Medical Receptionist

**Job Title:** Receptionist

**Location:** P-72 , Prince Anwar Shah Road , Kolkata - 700045 , Opp.South City Mall .

**Department:** Front Office / Receptionist

**Duty Hours:** 8–9 hours

**Job Summary:**

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, responsible for managing front desk operations, handling patient registrations, appointments, and ensuring smooth coordination between patients and medical staff.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

* Manage patient registration and update records in the hospital/clinic management system.

* Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.

* Handle incoming calls, provide information, and transfer calls to appropriate departments.

* Collect consultation fees, issue receipts, and maintain cash records.

* Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and diagnostic departments for patient flow management.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization at the reception area.

* Handle patient queries and escalate issues to the concerned person if required.

* Manage daily reports related to patient visits and billing.

* Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.

*Required Skills and Qualifications:**

* Graduate in any discipline (Preference for candidates with medical or hospital background).

* Minimum 2– 5 years of experience in a clinic, diagnostic centre, or hospital.

* Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and local language.

* Knowledge of MS Office and basic computer operations.

* Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and patient-friendly attitude.

**Preferred Skills:**

* Experience in using hospital/clinic management software.

* Basic knowledge of billing and medical terminology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
