Job Title: Receptionist & Admin In-Charge
Location: Patna

Reports To: Hospital Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist and Admin In-Charge to manage front desk operations and oversee administrative tasks in the hospital. This role is critical in ensuring smooth communication between patients, staff, and departments, while maintaining high standards of customer service and administrative efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors courteously.
Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out.
Answer phone calls, route calls appropriately, and handle inquiries.
Schedule appointments and coordinate with medical staff.
Schedules doctors’ appointments for patients
Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary
Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients
Respond to emails that arrive using the general office email address
Arranges hospital admissions, provides referrals, and schedules appointments for medical tests and lab work for patients as needed..
Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies and solving problems...
Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
.Provides directions to the office to new patients, consulting practitioners, and vendors.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Administrative Duties:
Supervise and support administrative staff including clerks and office assistants.
Ensure the smooth operation of daily office tasks such as filing, record keeping, inventory management, and correspondence.
Maintain staff attendance records, duty rosters, and handle basic HR-related documentation.
Liaise with vendors, service providers, and maintenance staff.
Prepare reports for hospital management on administrative performance and patient feedback.
Coordination & Compliance:
Coordinate between departments to ensure seamless patient service.
Ensure all hospital administrative policies and procedures are followed.
Monitor cleanliness and proper upkeep of the reception and administrative areas.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospital Management, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office and hospital management software.
Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and patience.
Work Schedule:
Full-time; Rotational shifts may be applicable depending on hospital hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹8,398.82 - ₹12,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
