Medical Receptionist

Full job description

We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments and follow-ups.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, directing them to appropriate staff members.
  • Verify patient information and update electronic health records (EHR) as needed.
  • Handle billing processes, including invoicing, processing payments, and managing insurance claims.
  • Collect co-pays and payments, and provide receipts to patients.
  • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Handle inquiries from patients, families, and other visitors, providing accurate information.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, and emailing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

Salary: AED2,500.00 – AED3,000.00 per month
