Hope Medical Clinic P.A is a medical clinic in Fayetteville, NC. We are looking for a receptionist who is willing and able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Medical Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
- Serves patients by greeting and helping them with filling out forms, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
- Answers telephone calls promptly and courteously, screens calls, transfers caller to correct individual.
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient’s arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and insurance information on the system.
- Maximizes revenue collection by updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges.
- Measuring Vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, breathing rate and temperature), Height and Weight.
- Manage Specialist referrals
- Call or fax prescriptions to pharmacies
- Clean and maintain instruments and medical equipment
- Communicating physician instructions to patients
- Maintain patient medical records

Qualification
- Minimum high school Diploma
- Computer skills is mandatory
- Microsoft word and Excel skills
- Good oral communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and staff are essential.
Experience
- Previous experience in medical office is preferable
