Job Summary
Noubel Rehabilitation Center is seeking a professional and organized Medical Receptionist to join our medical department in Al Ain. The Medical Receptionist plays a critical role in ensuring smooth front desk operations, accurate patient registration, insurance coordination, and compliance with Department of Health (DOH), TASNEEF, and insurance (Daman and other payers) requirements.
The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient service while maintaining accurate records, protecting confidentiality, and supporting clinical and administrative workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a receptionist in a medical center or hospital (Required)
- Knowledge of DOH regulations and medical center workflows
- Experience with insurance verification and approval processes (Daman and other UAE insurance providers)
- Proficient in computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Fluent in Arabic and English (Required)
Responsibilities
Patient Registration and Front Desk Operations
- Register patients accurately in the EMR system in compliance with DOH requirements
- Verify patient identity using Emirates ID and insurance card
- Maintain complete and accurate patient demographic and insurance information
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently
- Ensure proper patient flow and coordination with clinical staff
Insurance Verification and Coordination
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage prior to appointments
- Submit insurance approval requests and follow up with insurance providers (including Daman)
- Track approvals, extensions, and authorizations in coordination with therapists and insurance coordinators
- Inform patients of insurance coverage, approvals, and any financial responsibility
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records according to DOH and TASNEEF standards
- Ensure proper documentation of patient visits, approvals, and administrative records
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with DOH and UAE healthcare regulations
- Support audit preparation and provide required documentation during DOH, TASNEEF, or insurance audits
Administrative and Operational Support
- Answer phone calls professionally and respond to patient inquiries
- Coordinate with therapists, physicians, and administrative staff
- Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical)
- Assist with daily operational reports and patient logs
- Support billing and insurance teams as needed

Requirements
