Medical Receptionist

Locations: Southlake, Argyle, Flower Mound, North Richland Hills, Keller, Denton

Hours: Full-Time, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Position Overview:

We are a respected Podiatry medical office looking for a dedicated Front Office receptionist to enhance our team. If you excel in customer service, have at least one year of medical office experience, and are skilled in insurance verification and patient collections, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Interaction: Greet and check in patients with a friendly demeanor; handle check-outs, billing, and payment collections efficiently.
• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service both in person and over the phone.
• Appointment Preparation: Prepare for upcoming appointments by obtaining necessary referrals and information.
• Account Management: Audit patient accounts, ensuring all paperwork is signed and up-to-date.
• Phone and Data Management: Manage multi-line phones, perform data entry, and file/scanned documents accurately.
• Insurance Verification: Verify and detail patient insurance benefits online and over the phone.
• Additional Tasks: Pre-certify supplies as needed; assist with surgery scheduling if applicable.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of experience in a medical office, including insurance verification and patient collections.
• Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to motivate and work effectively with others.
