Medical Receptionist

Beyond Vision Center Optometry (BVC) is looking to add a fun, outgoing and charismatic Receptionist to their eye care team. At BVC, our mission is to provide patients with a unique experience that goes beyond achieving 20/20 vision. We strive to provide effortless vision so our patients can perform without visual stress everyday! Every patient encounter is customized to meet their individual needs.

The person who joins our team should be a motivated individual who wants to learn more about eye care and is passionate about being an integral member of the eye care team. This candidate must be friendly and social such that patients enjoy their initial experience at BVC from the moment they schedule their appointment or walk in the office. Experience in customer service and excellent communication skills are preferred.

Education:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

Qualifications:

- Customer Service Experience: 1 year (preferred)

- Computer Savy

- Pass Background Check

Salary:

- $18-20 per hour with subject to increase

- Monday – Friday 9am to 6pm

- 8 hour shifts (1 hour lunch break)

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Scheduling appointments via phone calls, text messages and our online Weave platform.

- Answering phones, booking patient appointments, verifying insurance, as well as checking patients in and out of the office

- Checking in glasses, contacts and orders
