Medical Receptionist – Full-Time Position

Oahu Dermatology, a busy and fast-paced three-physician dermatology office, is seeking a personable, positive, and engaging individual to join our team of friendly, compassionate, and motivated professionals. We are dedicated to providing quality care and exceptional service to our patients.

Position Overview:

We are looking for Medical Receptionists who are passionate about patient care and supporting a positive and efficient workplace. As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to physicians and staff. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, service-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients with a positive and professional attitude

• Answer phone calls and manage appointment scheduling efficiently

• Verify insurance coverage and review patient insurance forms

• Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality

• Provide administrative support to physicians and staff as needed

• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and team members

• Address questions regarding treatment options, billing, and office procedures

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently under pressure

• Strong computer skills and familiarity with office systems

• A genuine desire to learn and contribute to a team-oriented environment

• Previous experience in a medical office or customer service setting is a plus
