We are seeking a dedicated Optometric Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in a medical office setting, ensuring efficient patient service and front desk operations.
Responsibilities:- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing inquiries- Maintain electronic medical records accurately- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently- Assist with administrative tasks to support medical staff as needed
Qualifications:- Previous experience in a medical receptionist role is preferred- Proficiency in using medical office software such as Eyefinity is advantageous- People skills are everything. Must be friendly, cheerful and outgoing.
-Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients compassionately- Knowledge of phone systems and office equipment- Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
