Medical Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our boutique healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative responsibilities. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and efficient patient flow. The ideal candidate will be proficient in EMR systems and possess excellent communication skills to foster a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and handle check-in/check-out procedures with professionalism and efficiency
• Schedule appointments using WebPT
• Communicate with patients about insurance benefits, collecting co-payments and balances
• Answer phone systems with courteous phone etiquette; direct calls appropriately and handle patient inquiries promptly
• Maintain organized filing systems for medical records
• Support clinical staff with intake procedures and data entry
• Manage patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance

Ideal Candidate

• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound decision-making skills
• Personable, with a positive "can do" attitude
• Well organized and able to set priorities
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and quick learner
• Previous medical office experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR highly preferred
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
