Position Summary:
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Patient Coordinator to support daily clinic operations and patient flow.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume, face-to-face patient role focused on front desk coordination, patient check-in/check-out, and administrative support.
No prior medical experience is required. We are willing to train the right person who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with people in a busy medical environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, learns quickly, and remains calm and professional during busy periods.
What Success in This Role Looks Like:
· Patients are greeted and checked in/out efficiently and professionally
· Front desk flow remains organized during busy times
· Patient information is accurate and properly maintained in the system
· Payments and balances are collected consistently and correctly
· Communication with patients and staff is clear and respectful
· The team works together to keep daily operations running smoothly
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out process
- Collect copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and outstanding balances at time of service
- Maintain a professional and welcoming front desk environment
- Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information
- Scan and upload documents into the electronic health record (EHR)
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
- Answer and triage incoming phone calls as part of front desk support
- Route messages to providers and staff appropriately
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred
- Experience with EHR systems is a plus
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
- No prior medical experience required
- Previous customer service or office experience is helpful but not required
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM
- Friday, 7:45 AM – 12:00 PM

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
