Job Description

We are a close-knit primary care practice with two locations in Buena Park and Los Angeles . We are currently hiring for multiple positions, including Medical Receptionist, Medical Assistant, and LVN Clinical Coordinator.

Bilingual Korean and English skills are required due to patient communication needs.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Candidates should be available to work 2 to 5 days per week. Work schedule and location may be flexible and negotiable.

Availability to work at our Buena Park location is preferred. Candidates who are available to work at both our Los Angeles and Buena Park locations are strongly encouraged to apply.

This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in a primary care setting, including those preparing for medical school, PA school, nursing school, or other healthcare careers.

Medical office experience is preferred, but not required for receptionist or medical assistant candidates. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may vary depending on the candidate’s experience, license, and assigned role.

General responsibilities may include:

  • Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Reviewing and updating patient information
  • Recording vital signs
  • Assisting providers with clinical workflow and patient care
  • Collecting, processing, and handling patient specimens accurately
  • Maintaining exam rooms, supplies, and office cleanliness
  • Supporting front-office and back-office operations as needed
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the physician or management

Additional Responsibilities for LVN Clinical Coordinator Candidates

LVN candidates may also assist with clinical coordination and back-office workflow, including:

  • Supporting daily clinical workflow and helping coordinate back-office operations
  • Performing basic patient assessments and collecting clinical data, including vital signs and medical histories
  • Assisting providers with patient care, procedures, and follow-up tasks within LVN scope of practice
  • Starting and maintaining IV therapy and performing blood withdrawal as permitted by California LVN license, IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal certification, provider orders, and office protocols
  • Administering medications or injections as permitted by license, training, provider orders, and office protocols
  • Coordinating lab, imaging, referral, and patient follow-up workflows
  • Communicating with patients regarding care instructions, results, and follow-up as directed by the provider
  • Helping train and support Medical Assistants and front/back-office staff
  • Monitoring clinical supplies, vaccines, specimens, and exam room readiness
  • Helping management improve office efficiency, patient experience, and team communication
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the physician or management

Qualifications

  • Korean and English bilingual skills required
  • Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with patients, providers, and team members
  • Medical office experience preferred, but not required for receptionist or medical assistant candidates
  • Medical Assistant experience or healthcare background is a plus
  • Prior experience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, or outpatient clinic preferred
  • Leadership, training, or clinical coordination experience is a plus

For LVN candidates:

  • Active California LVN license required
  • Current IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal certification required
  • Must be able to work within applicable LVN scope of practice, provider direction, and office protocols

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: Once a month, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Expected hours: 24 to 45 hours per week
  • Start date: Negotiable

Pay

Compensation will depend on position, experience, qualifications, and license status.

Suggested range:

  • Medical Receptionist / Medical Assistant: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
  • LVN Clinical Coordinator with IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal certification: $26.00 – $40.00 per hour
