Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager of HR and Operations and the Front Desk lead, and in accordance with practice procedures, the Medical Receptionist performs all aspects of patient scheduling, registration, and payment collection.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to work on time as scheduled.
Performs all aspects of appointment scheduling including:
Scans the following documents into the Electronic Medical Record as required:
Communicates effectively with patients, parents, caregivers, coworkers, and providers regarding patient scheduling issues as needed.
Collects all necessary data to appropriately register and schedule patients:
Performs all aspects of payment collection and cash handling including, but not limited to:
Performs all additional extra duty assignments and miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned.
