The Position

Full-time position.

Typical schedule:

  • 2 days: 10.5 hours (7:50 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • 2 days: 8.5 hours (7:50 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • 1 weekday off

(Some flexibility depending on clinic and employee needs.)

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent team skills and strong communication abilities
  • Joyful and compassionate demeanor
  • Flexible, hardworking, and able to multitask
  • Strong computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of medical experience
  • Spanish speaking

Purpose

To joyfully serve as part of a team providing excellent and caring health care in partnership with patients and families, and to provide support to providers and managers.

Responsibilities

Dependent on experience and training. Works under the direction of medical providers and managers to perform duties such as:

  • Answer phones, return calls, and schedule appointments
  • Check patients in and manage front desk flow
  • Perform insurance prior authorizations
  • Schedule imaging studies
  • Maintain accurate charting, records, and documentation
  • Order and maintain supplies and equipment
  • Perform general clerical and reception duties
  • Complete additional responsibilities as trained and directed
