Medical Receptionist (Weekend)

Job Overview:
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff entering the facility. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment while performing a wide range of administrative and clerical duties to support daily operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • · Greet and check in all visitors, clients, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
  • · Answer and route phone calls promptly; take accurate messages when necessary.
  • · Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
  • · Monitor the front entrance to ensure facility security and safety protocols are followed.
  • · Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages.
  • · Assist clients and visitors with general inquiries about the facility, programs, and schedules.
  • · Coordinate appointment scheduling and staff calendars as needed.
  • · Maintain and update client and administrative records in accordance with policy.
  • · Support admissions and discharge processes by collecting documentation and communicating with clinical and administrative staff.
  • · Maintain an organized and professional reception area.
  • · Perform additional administrative duties as assigned, including data entry, scanning, filing, and supply ordering.

Requirements:

  • · High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • · Minimum of 1 year of administrative or front desk experience, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
  • · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • · Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • · Proficiency in Google Suite and general computer systems.
  • · Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • · Compassionate, professional demeanor with a calm presence under pressure.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
