Receptionist will greet patients as they enter the clinic. Must have professional and friendly demeanor. Attention to detail is very important to this position.
Receptionist is responsible for scheduling appointments, taking messages for nurses and providers, verifying insurance eligibility, collecting copays and balances, registering new patients, and coordinating patient referrals to specialist.
Receptionist will assist in keeping waiting areas, patient care areas, and restrooms clean as needed. The person in this position will help keep the office seasonally decorated and assist in fun and creative ideas/ activities for pediatric patients visiting the practice.

As a Pediatric Medical Receptionist, you will be essential in providing administrative support within a pediatric healthcare setting. Reporting to the Office Manager, your role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical records. Your core skills in medical office experience and patient service will ensure a welcoming environment for families. Utilizing premium skills in EHR systems and HIPAA compliance, you will uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and efficiency. Your relevant skills in Microsoft Office and customer service will further enhance the patient experience, making you a vital part of our healthcare team.
