Overview
We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical office environment. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and enhancing patient experiences. Part time 20 hrs per week.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using medical office software.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while filing documents appropriately.
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services offered.
- Process patient information and insurance details efficiently.
- Assist with administrative duties, including maintaining office supplies and managing correspondence.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and support overall office management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical software applications such as Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Excellent typing skills, including 10 key typing proficiency for data entry tasks.
