Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and dynamic Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and strong organizational abilities. Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the organization.
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls and taking accurate messages as needed.
- Maintain organized filing systems, including digital and paper records, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
- Verify medical insurance coverage.
- Request authorization for medical treatment for private patients .
- Collect payments.
- Schedule appointments and register patients in the system .
- Confirm new patients appointments .
- Refer patient for testing as requested by physicians.
- Travel to other offices as needed .
Experience
- Previous office management or administrative experience is required, ideally within a professional environment.
- Proven experience in customer service roles with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations is essential.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse clients or visitors.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
