Job Summary

We are seeking a result-oriented Medical Representative (MR) to promote and sell pharmaceutical products in the assigned territory. This is a field-based role, involving visits to doctors, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals to generate prescriptions, build relationships and increase product awareness and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit doctors, clinics, hospitals and pharmacies regularly as per planned schedules
• Promote and detail company pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals
• Ensure products are recommended, prescribed and stocked
• Build strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists and distributors
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Implement field sales strategies and territory plans
• Conduct product presentations and sampling
• Track competitors, pricing, and prescription trends
• Ensure proper product visibility at pharmacies
• Take orders, coordinate supply and follow-up on availability
• Maintain territory data, daily call reports and activity updates

Requirements

• 1–3 years experience as a Medical Representative preferred
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales is an advantage
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of pharmaceutical products and prescription selling
• Ability to travel in the assigned region
• Target-driven mindset
• Two-wheeler preferred
